Quick Overview

The Wilson Dual Band Ultimate Kit provides a largest coverage area for all US networks (except Nextel). It includes two single band 65dB amplifiers and two directional yagi antennas. This kit is suitable for covering very large buildings and homes up to 15,000 square feet in size, or can be used to ensure strong coverage in buildings with very weak outdoor signal strength.

Details

The Wilson Dual Band Ultimate Kit includes two 65dB single band amplifiers. This dual band kit works with all networks (except Nextel). The kit can provide up to 15,000 sq ft of improved signal.

The amplifier is sold here as a complete kit, with all the antennas and cables you need to boost signal in your home/office. You can customize the kit by changing both antennas and cable lengths to suit your needs.

How it works:
The outside antenna is placed in the area of best signal, collects it and sends it through a cable to the two 65dB single band amplifiers - the 801365 and 801165. The amplified signal is then sent the through a cable to the indoor antenna. This provides an area of improved signal that can be used by up to 15 phones or data cards simultaneously.

Kit recommendations:
Outside antenna:
There are 3 options for the outside antenna. If you are unsure about the options please contact us either by phone (800-786-6125) or by email

  • For optimum coverage area, we recommend using two yagi antennas. These are directional antennas that can be pointed to the nearest cellular towers. It is suitable when you need to cover 1 network, 2 networks on different frequencies, or more networks who have cell towers on the same tower/direction.
  • The 304411 is a single dual band yagi antenna. It's just a single antenna, so is only suitable if you need to cover just 1 network, or more networks all on the same tower/direction.
  • The 301202 is a omni-directional antenna, which picks up signal from all sources. It's not as powerful, but it's ideal if you have to pick up many networks, all in different direcitons.

Indoor antenna: Here there are two options. The ceiling mounted Wilson 301121 sends signal out in all directions, and so should be placed in the center of the area to cover. The wall mounted Wilson 301135 sends signal out in a wide V shape, and so should be placed on a side wall. Choose whichever antenna works best for your space.

Cable lengths: Use whatever cable lengths you need to make the kit work. To ensure enough isolation between the outdoor and indoor antennas, we recommend using at least 100ft of cable.

Optional accessories: If you are in a high storm area then we recommend the surge protector to protect your kit. Unless you are boosting signal for a large warehouse with no walls, using add-on internal antennas will dramatically increase the coverage area of this kit. We recommend using at least one add-on antenna for each 2-3 thousand square feet in the building. Add-on antennas are also very useful for distributing signal between multiple floors.
