This is a 6V DC hardwire power supply for use with 6V Wilson Cell Phone Amplifiers. It converts a 12V fuse panel supply to 6V needed for the Wilson 6V amps. It allows Wilson amplifiers to be installed in the vehicle permanently, no longer requiring the cigarette lighter for power. This also allows the amplifier to be installed more discretely under the passenger seat.
Only for use with 6V amplifiers:
All of the in-home and large building amplifiers are 6V. As are the 801201 kits, 801230 Mini-SignalBoost kits and the 804013 iDEN kit.
All other amplifiers require a 12V hardwire Adapter.
