The Wilson 805045 amplifier is a dual band amplifier which covers all US networks except Nextel. When purchased as a complete kit it can provide up to 5,000 sq ft of improved signal. For larger kits up to 10,000 sq ft see our Large Building Kits.
The amplifier is sold here as a complete kit, with all the antennas and cables you need to boost signal in your home/office. You can customize the kit by changing both antennas and cable lengths to suit your needs.
How it works:
The outside antenna is placed in the area of best signal, collects it and sends it through a cable to the amplifier. The SOHO amplifier boosts the signal, and then sends the boosted signal through a cable to the inside antenna. This provides an area of improved signal, that can be used by up to 15 phones or data cards simultaneously.
Kit recommendations:
Outside antenna: If you are using the kit in your home, then there are a few options. The 304411 multi-band yagi antenna gives the highest gain, but the network towers you wish to boost have to be in the same direction. If you need to pick up signal from all directions, then we recommend the 301202 building antenna. The antenna is dual band, and mounts to a pole up to 1-3/4" in diameter.
Indoor antenna: Here you have the choice of the 301121 ceiling mount antenna, or the 301135 wall mount antenna. Choose which one best suits your situation.
Cable lengths: Use whatever cable lengths you need to make the kit work. Remember that coaxial cable attenuates the signal, so try to use as little as possible.
Optional accessories: If you are in a high storm area then we recommend the surge protector to protect your kit. The external antennas are pole mount, so we have a pole mount accessory to attach to any flat surface.
