The Wilson 801230 Mini-SignalBoost is a 40dB in-car amplifier. It creates a wireless zone of usable cell signal that boosts both 3G and voice signal of all US networks (except Nextel).
The kit needs an external antenna to work. Alternatively you can buy a pre-packaged kit.

The 801230 Mini-SignalBoost is a wireless dual band 40dB amplifier, which covers all US networks (except Nextel) and 3G data. The amplifier is small, designed to fit discreetly in your vehicle. the amplifier is powered by an included in-car 6V cigarette charger. For a more permanent installation, you can use the 6V hardwire adapter. It can also be powered by the Wilson 6V AC supply.
The in-car antenna is the Wilson 301149 Ultra-Slim antenna. This antenna fixes to the side of the driver's seat via a velcro strip. It rebroadcasts the boosted signal, creating a wireless cell zone of usable signal in the vehicle. For more details see here.
