Overview:
The Wilson 301202 is a building antenna which is a convenient and durable exterior antenna for a home/business based repeater kit. The antenna is dual band, as so is ideally suited for use with the Wilson SOHO 801245. It may also be connected directly to your cell phone, with the appropriate adapter cable (see below). The antenna is made of fibreglass, and is fully weatherproof.
Installation:
The Wilson 301202 is an omni-directional antenna. Omni-directional antennas receive signal from all directions, and so the antenna needs to be installed in a vertical position in the area of strongest signal.
Mounting details:
The Wilson 301202 contains mounting hardware to attach to a pole up to 1-3/4" in diameter. The pole is not included.
Direct connect option:
You can also use the Wilson 301202 instead of your phone's standard antenna, by attaching the 301202 to your phone's external antenna port. Most phones have these ports, and all you need to make it work is a Wilson adapter cable.
